Everything for each DroidFX release. To put DroidFX on a new board, the Install page is easier.

The first public release isn't out yet. Its files will be here, and on the Install page.

  1. On the board’s Firmware page, download a backup.
  2. Firmware Update: upload the firmware file. The board restarts when it’s done.
  3. Web UI Update: unzip the web UI files and upload all four. No restart needed.

Your settings, presets and sequences stay. More in Updates & backups.

None yet.

Every file is listed with its SHA-256 checksum. To check one, compare with what your computer says:

  • Windows: certutil -hashfile droidfx-VERSION-firmware.bin SHA256
  • Mac: shasum -a 256 droidfx-VERSION-firmware.bin
  • Linux: sha256sum droidfx-VERSION-firmware.bin

DroidFX is free to use under its licence. It includes third-party libraries under their own licences, listed in Third-party notices. For the LGPL ones (ESPAsyncWebServer-esphome, AsyncTCP-esphome, Adafruit NeoPixel and the Arduino-ESP32 core), each release’s re-link kit holds their source exactly as built into that version, and DroidFX’s compiled object files with the instructions to rebuild the firmware against modified copies of them.
