Install DroidFX
Plug the board into a computer, press Install, and this page puts DroidFX on it. No software to install, and nothing to build.
The first public release isn't out yet. This button installs it as soon as it is.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The Freenove ESP32-S3 DEV board (What you need).
- A USB cable that carries data, not just power. If the board never appears, the cable is the usual suspect.
- Chrome or Edge on a Windows, Mac, Linux or ChromeOS computer. They can talk to the board over USB; other browsers, phones and tablets can’t.
Install
Section titled “Install”- Plug the board into the computer. If it has two USB ports, either works; if it doesn’t show up, try the other one.
- Press Install DroidFX above, and pick the board’s port from the list the browser shows.
- Choose Install DroidFX. For a first install, say yes to erase the device.
- Wait while it writes, a couple of minutes. Don’t unplug the board until it says it’s done.
- Unplug it, wire it into your droid, and carry on with Getting started.
